"The merit of this publication is to have deepened the biomechanics of the athletic gesture, analyzing it from a point of view not only aimed at performance, but also from a preventive point of view for various pathologies, especially affecting the shoulder. Reading is also pleasant and easy to consult for all professionals, in particular coaches, athletic trainers, physiotherapists and sports doctors. The orthopedist, for his part, can deepen all the gestures of the various movements of the tennis match, trying to correlate the anatomical structures involved with any pathologies. The latter are addressed with rigor and validated scientific references. Furthermore, for each of them, the direction to follow is indicated to minimize risks and prevent potentially disabling problems.
